
FreeCAD Cube navigation is very basic it does not provide much more option to orientate the part. In this tutorial we will learn how to use FreeCAD Advance cube navigation in FreeCAD. In FreeCAD, the Navigation Cube is more than just a simple orientation tool. It has evolved significantly, especially since version 0.20, to include a range of advanced and customizable features that put you in full control of your 3D view that we will discuss in this article.

In below image you can see the FreeCAD basic Cube navigation which does not provide much more option to check part orientation.

For those seeking even more power, the community has developed an External Workbench called CubeMenu that unlocks a whole new level of configuration. Launch FreeCAD and head over to tool and then add on manager and search for ‘cube’ and install Cube Menu as shown in below image and install it.

Once you install the Cube Menu restart the FreeCAD. Now you will see many option to to cube navigation as shown in below image.
